This campus-wide event showcases the scholarship, creative activity, and intellectualÌýachievement of the John Carroll community with a particular emphasis on research. Welcome to °ÅÀÖ´óÈË°æappÔ¼ÅÚ and DISCOVER, Sarah!

Sarah Lewin Frasier is the assistant news editor atÌýScientific American; she plans, assigns, and edits the Advances section of the monthly magazine, as well as editing online news. Before joiningÌýScientific AmericanÌýin 2019, she chronicled humanity’s journey to the stars as associate editor at Space.com. She holds an A.B. in mathematics from Brown University and an M.A. in journalism from New York University’s Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program.Ìý

Students can present their work at the in-person poster session beginning at 2 pm on April 8th in the DJ Lombardo Student Center LSC Conference Room.

To present a poster, fully complete the application by Friday, March 22, 2024.

Important: Late applications cannot be accepted. The application form will automatically close on 03/22/24 at 11:59 p.m.

Students who present posters have the option of entering the poster competition. $100 cash prizes will be awarded for the top poster in each of the following categories:

  • Business

  • Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math

  • Professional Studies

To enter the competition, please submit your Poster Application and indicate that you wish to be entered into the Poster Competition.

Students can present their work during the conference-style live sessions scheduled throughout the afternoon of April 8th in one of three presentation rooms in the Lombardo Student Center. Each session will be 50 minutes long and organized around a central theme. Students can present scholarly papers or participate in panel discussions on a given topic.Ìý Ìý

Calling all artists: Seeking entries that celebrate creative arts at °ÅÀÖ´óÈË°æappÔ¼ÅÚ!

to submit your entries to the 2024 Art Show. Ìý

Students can submit their artwork in any visual media (paints, pencils, photography, fibers, sculpture, etc.). Submissions will be displayed in Grasselli Library & Breen Learning Center through the end of the semester.Ìý
