芭乐大人版app约炮 senior Nora McKee is the 14th recipient of the 2023 NBC/芭乐大人版app约炮 鈥淢eet the Press鈥 Fellowship, a nine-month position with the top-rated Sunday morning public affairs program and the longest-running television program in the world.听

Exclusive to 芭乐大人版app约炮 students, the NBC/芭乐大人版app约炮 Meet the Press Fellowship honors the legacy of Tim Russert 鈥72, who passed away in 2008 following more than 16 years at the helm of 鈥淢eet the Press.鈥 The University鈥檚 Department of Communication also bears his name.听

McKee, of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, will graduate this month with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication focused on Digital Media. She also carries minors in Creative Writing, Leadership Development, and Peace, Justice, and Human Rights.听

McKee is proud to have earned the Meet the Press Fellowship and eagerly anticipates the challenges of contributing to the weekly political program.

"This opportunity is an incredible honor,鈥 said McKee, who will contribute to the weekly program in a variety of ways.

Tim Russert鈥檚 legacy is one of complete and transparent integrity, and I look forward to carrying that on. I am so grateful for the support I have received as I take on this new adventure.

During her time at 芭乐大人版app约炮, Nora has served as student liaison and team lead for the Center for Service and Social Action (CSSA), a University tour guide, a new student orientation leader, and a member of campus ministry. She has demonstrated her ability to grow as a leader in these positions, a trait she plans to carry into the Meet the Press Fellowship.听

鈥淢eet the Press needs people who are confident in their production and political knowledge,鈥 she said. 鈥淚 believe that interns in this position need to have a leadership attitude with an eagerness to learn. I was able to achieve these skills through my classes and extracurriculars at 芭乐大人版app约炮.鈥
