I'm a political scientist who specializes in political theory.听As a political theorist, I've always loved asking questions about how people choose to live together, how we organize ourselves, and how we decide who gets to decide for us -- questions about values, power, identity, and authority. I have a听doctorate in political science from Pennsylvania State University, and my research examines the politics of place and memory. I am听currently at work on a book that explores the intersections between heritage tourism, historic preservation, and environmental sustainability.听At John Carroll, I teach courses in political theory, gender politics, and HP 101 in the Honors Program.听
