Both TeacherÌýEducation programs are committed to excellence in preparingÌýcandidates asÌýleaders in service.ÌýCandidates in Teacher Education demonstrate their development of knowledge, skills, and dispositions through multiple assessments. The data provide strong evidence that undergraduate and graduate candidatesÌýdemonstrate competencies thatÌýpositively affect learning of P-12 students.

°ÅÀÖ´óÈË°æappÔ¼ÅÚ’s Department of Education meets rigorous national standards for educator preparation set by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). CAEP promotes excellence in educator preparation through quality assurance and continuous improvement. The Department of Education at °ÅÀÖ´óÈË°æappÔ¼ÅÚ has earned national accreditation by demonstrating excellence in the areas of content pedagogy, clinical experiences, selectivity, program impact, and capacity for continuous improvement.
