芭乐大人版app约炮 is a Jesuit Catholic University. Our primary experiences of worship are in the Roman Catholic tradition. While the 芭乐大人版app约炮 community are welcome at all of our celebrations, we also offer opportunities for students of other faith communities or of no faith community.听听Our entire community welcomes students, staff, and faculty from all religious/non-religious backgrounds and philosophies.听听听听听听听

In light of our mission, all Campus Ministry events are open to people of all faiths.听Interfaith and ecumenical programs and worship experiences are held throughout the academic year. In addition, every effort is made to connect students to a worshipping community within their faith tradition. Questions? Stop by one of our offices. We鈥檇 love to meet you!

Campus Ministry sponsors panels of students to talk about faith from their unique and personal perspective. In the past, we have hosted a Muslim women鈥檚 panel, Jewish women鈥檚 panel, and there have been panels about caring for the earth, views of the afterlife, and scripture. Each panel offers an opportunity to learn more about another tradition, while reflecting on your own. Stay tuned for more panels in the future!

Muslim Student Society (MSS)听鈥 MSS offers a chance for Muslim students to gather for prayer and other spiritual practices as well as stay in touch with the larger Muslim community, locally and globally.

Hillel听鈥 This student group seeks to connect Jewish students at John Carroll with one another. The Hillel group participates in Jewish holidays and activities together, and often celebrates the Sabbath on Friday nights. They are affiliated with the Hillel group at Case Western Reserve University. Hillel鈥檚 mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish undergraduate and graduate students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world.

Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru)听鈥 Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru in the U.S.) exists to help fulfill the Great Commission by winning, building, and sending in the power of the Holy Spirit. We also help the body of Christ do evangelism and discipleship. Each week we open the Bible to understand how His word applies to our lives. All religious backgrounds are welcome! As a non-denominational Christian organization, we encourage all opinions and compare them to God鈥檚 word.

Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF)听鈥 The mission of Orthodox Christian Fellowship is to support fellowship on college campuses among the members of the Orthodox Christian faith. OCF members experience and give witness to the Orthodox Christian Church through community life, prayer, service to others, and study of the Faith (Acts 2:42).

Agape听鈥 This is John Carroll鈥檚 Catholic devotional group. All are welcome to deepen their understanding of Roman Catholic prayer and devotion. Agape is instrumental in "Nights of Worship" (Praise听Music, Adoration, and Confession).

Respect for Life听鈥 This group of students includes those who are committed to advocating for the protection of life from conception to natural death. One yearly activity is to attend the March for Life in Washington, D.C., in January.

Knights of Columbus听鈥 Catholic men gather for prayer, study, and devotions within the framework of the national Knights of Columbus.

Daughters of Isabella -听A sister group to the men鈥檚 鈥淜nights of Columbus,鈥 the Daughter of Isabella is an organization of Catholic women who gather for prayer, study, and devotions within the framework of the national Daughters of Isabella.

The Interfaith Prayer Room is located on the third floor of Grasselli Library & Breen Learning Center. It is available for quiet prayer and reflection to all students any time the library is open. You may obtain the key at the Library Help Desk.

Fridays at 2 p.m. the Muslim Student Society has Friday prayer.
