Mental health is an important aspect of cura personalis, or care for the whole person, at John Carroll. To care for our mental health means building a foundation of self-care, community support, and skillful means. Stressors and life transitions are part of the college experience, and talking about concerns as they arise helps you learn from these challenges. If problems don鈥檛 resolve or you are struggling with mental health concerns, don鈥檛 hesitate to get expert care. Finally, if you or a friend is in crisis, seek the immediate care needed.

Build a Foundation for Wellness:听

You can build a strong foundation for mental health, from setting up good habits and limiting your commitments to developing academic, career, and relationship skills.
